Here is our mission statement:
The purpose of the Poteau Chamber of Commerce is to advance, stimulate and enhance the agricultural, economic, commercial, industrial, and professional growth and development of the Poteau economic region, to promote tourism, provide quality education and to advance civic and cultural interests of the community.
We are an energetic, progressive force. The Chamber of Commerce staff consists of CEO & President, Office Manager & Finance Director, and Events Coordinator/Administrative Assistant. There are also numerous volunteers that help throughout the year. The Chamber has an Executive Board and Board of Directors that help oversee business and event decisions throughout the year.
